The Center for Special Education Services at Region 7 ESC provides administrative and program technical assistance and professional development in planning, implementing, and evaluating special education programs.

 

Services are provided in the following areas to support districts in achieving instructional excellence for students and compliance with federal and state regulations: access to general curriculum, assistive technology, child find, disability conditions, early and secondary transition, evaluation, funding, individualized education program (IEP) development, legal frameworks, multicultural and diverse learners, parent education/coordination, performance-based monitoring, progress monitoring, response to intervention, and state assessment for students with disabilities.
