Facilitated IEP

The role of the Facilitator is to guide the ARD committee through effective communication and decision-making when determining what is best for an individual student to be successful in the educational setting.
The Facilitated approach uses skills to:
- Elicit participation from all members of the ARD committee
- Clarify information through good questioning
- Assist when conflicts arise
- Reach a consensus as to the plan of action for the student with special needs
