A Day for Dyslexia All-Stars
Dyslexia Day is a special experience created to help students recognize their strengths, build confidence, and celebrate the unique ways they learn.
October is recognized as Dyslexia Awareness Month. Dyslexia affects approximately one in five people, but it does not define a student’s intelligence, creativity, potential, or future. Region 7 ESC’s Fifth Annual Dyslexia Day gives students an opportunity to learn, connect, explore, and be celebrated.
Students will participate in engaging sessions featuring science, technology, math strategies, reading comprehension, creative expression, movement, and other hands-on activities. The day will also include lunch, sweet treats, door prizes, and opportunities to hear from local individuals with dyslexia who have their own All-Star stories to share.
Two Event DaysSelected schools will attend on either October 27 or October 28, 2026. |
Student-CenteredEvery part of the day is designed to help students feel supported and celebrated. |
Hands-On FunStudents will explore learning through creative, active, and engaging sessions. |
