Federal and State Programs

- Complete the 2026-2027 ESSA Application by Sept. 3rd (if not already completed)
- Ensure SNS Methodology or Statement of Exemption is completed and signed prior to budget adoption
- Begin working on the 2025-2026 ESSA Compliance Report
- Ensure that EDGAR Policies and Procedures Manual is updated for 2026-2027
- Ensure that all personnel carrying out policies and procedures have been trained
- If self-certifying a higher micropurchase threshold (>15,000-99,999), ensure eligibility, justification, local approval, update policies and procedures, and apply in EDGAR Connect app in SmartSheet.
- Ensure job descriptions are up-to-date and reflect position, funding sources, and type of time and effort required
- If using Substitute Time and Effort, apply for approval in the EDGAR Connect app in SmartSheet
- Ensure all instructional paraprofessionals on each Title I Schoolwide campus meet the Title I Paraprofessional requirements
- Distribute 2026-2027 Written Parent and Family Engagement Policy (LEA and campuses)
- Educate all staff, with the assistance of parents, on the value and utility of the contribution of parents
- Ensure Title I campuses have the Annual Title I, Part A Meeting scheduled by October.
- Post finalized 26/27 LEA PFE Policy on district website (ensure parents can locate within three clicks)
- Engage in consultation with participating private schools for ESSA PNP Equitable Services and complete a 26-27 PNP Affirmation of Consultation for each participating private school. (Due Sept. 30)
