there are many ways to create your access point ID map but for this tutorial we will be using Google slides for your access point ID map blueprints are the ideal image to you if you do not have blueprints of your campuses screenshot from Google Maps is acceptable in order to take a screenshot of the campus go to google.com Maps type in the address when's the campus is on the screen you can X off of this information quick the layers image in the bottom left corner end zoom in please take a moment to confirm that this is an accurate and up-to-date image of your campus once your campus is in place you will want to take a screenshot different options for taking a screenshot depending on if you're using a Mac or a PC for a Mac you can use command shift three which will automatically save the image to your desktop or PC you can use the Snipping tool click new select the portion of the screen you want to capture and then save the image in an easy to locate Boulder there are many options for creating the graphic such as PowerPoint canva or illustrator I will be using Google Slides I have not blank slide open and will rename it click insert image upload from computer find your file and open the image you can select the crop tool if you need to edit your image select your image click the crop button and drag the black borders to crop your image as needed hit enter when complete you will want to spend her your image read alignment bars will show you your image is centered on the page from here you can begin drawing the arrows click the line button click on a white space on your page and drag to an access point on the campus wine still selected click the line in button and select the arrow you will also want to change the color to red there are other line selection such as the scribble option if you need to make a more rotated line you will want to change the arrow and line color each time all lines will need a reference number click the text box and type in the number change the sizing it necessary and change the color to red drag the number close to the end point of your arrow you can copy and paste arrows to avoid formatting each time when's the new era with pasted click the blue button to turn the arrow as needed you may also choose to add circles around your numbers to help with Clarity once you have completed your graphic go to file download and select PDF jpg PNG or scalable Vector graphic these images can be inserted into the campus level exterior door safety audit tracker we hope this tutorial has been helpful to you if you have any questions about creating your own graphic for the access point map please contact a member of the region 7 ESV Communications team if you would like the communications team to with development of your graphics please call or email for more information for more information about the safety audit tracker in general please contact dr.
