Science Quest Series

Embark on an engaging year-long science adventure designed for educators in grades 3rd - 5th. The Science Quest Series supports teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators as they explore the four foundational science strands of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills through hands-on learning, deeper understanding of grade-level standards, and meaningful vocabulary development. Each session builds content knowledge and classroom confidence while bringing science to life in exciting and practical ways.

In “Expedition Earth & Space,” you will travel across landforms, weather systems, and solar patterns as you uncover the mysteries of Earth and space. With models and investigations in hand, teachers will prepare to guide students in seeing how the world works, from the ground up and the sky down.

Join a year-long professional learning journey through the four foundational science strands of the Grade 3-5 Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. This four-part cohort series is designed to deepen your understanding of grade-level science standards, enrich your vocabulary instruction, and build your confidence through engaging, hands-on lessons. In the final chapter of your 2026-2027 Elementary Science quest, become an Eco-Agent exploring ecosystems, food webs, and adaptations. Teachers will take on challenges that help students build an understanding of survival strategies, environmental change, and the balance of nature.
