Katrina Maccalous

Katrina Maccalous is a Mentoring Specialist/Texas Mentor Fellow at Region 7 ESC. She supports new and pre-service teachers through initiatives such as IMPACT ETX and Texas Mentorship Training. Before joining Region 7 ESC, she taught in Texas and Colorado and served as an instructional coach, academic coordinator, and new teacher coordinator. Katrina holds a Doctorate in School Improvement from the University of Texas at Tyler, where she also serves as an adjunct professor, continuing her work supporting teacher leaders in promoting effective instructional practices and a culture of continuous learning.
