Stacy Gwartney

Howdy! I’m the Secondary Science Specialist at Region 7 ESC, where I get to work with amazing 6th–12th grade science teachers across East Texas. Before joining the ESC, I served as the Secondary Science Specialist for Tyler ISD and spent many years in the classroom teaching everything from 8th grade science to Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, and Engineering in Alto, Bullard, and Jacksonville.

I’m a proud Texas A&M grad (Gig ’em!) and have been in education for 36 years—but who's counting? Science education is my passion, and I love supporting teachers in making learning meaningful, hands-on, and fun.
