Join us at Illuminate, a dynamic and inclusive curriculum conference tailored for educators across all grades and content areas, with a special focus on math, science, social studies, and ELAR (English Language Arts and Reading).
 
This transformative event brings together passionate teachers, curriculum specialists, and educational leaders to explore innovative approaches, share best practices, and ignite a collective commitment to advancing education. The conference will feature keynote speakers for each general content area, plus a variety of micro-sessions, a vendor hall, and giveaways. Closer to the conference, you will receive an email with instructions on how to register for micro-sessions through our conference app Swapcard. At Illuminate, we aim to illuminate the path to educational excellence, fostering collaboration and inspiring transformative teaching practices.

Jon Bassett Featured Social Studies Keynote Speaker
Jon Bassett, Founder 4QM
Jon Bassett, passionate about history since middle school, began teaching at Saint Pius V in the South Bronx. After twenty years in Boston suburbs, including leadership roles at Dover-Sherborn Regional High School and Newton North High School, he returned to urban education in 2018 at Match Charter Public High School. Honored with two teaching awards, Jon holds degrees from Columbia, Brown, and Boston University.
   
Gary Shiffman Featured Social Studies Keynote Speaker
Gary Shiffman, Founder 4QM
Gary Shiffman, starting his teaching career at 39, interned at Madison Park High School before teaching 9th and 10th graders at Newton North High School for four years. He then became Social Studies Curriculum Coordinator at Brookline High School for seventeen years. He transitioned to promoting the Four Question Method full-time. Gary holds a B.A. in Political Science from SUNY Binghamton and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
