With so many types of meetings it can be confusing to ensure ESSA and SCE compliance is met. Whether it is CNA, CIP/DIP, PFE, or SCE, you want to be sure that you have clarity on the purpose, timeline, and compliance documentation for each type of meeting. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of the required meetings as well as a resource to help them get each on the schedule.

Join us for an essential discussion on identifying and engaging key stakeholders for ESSA and SCE meetings. This session will explore the critical players needed to ensure meaningful collaboration and successful outcomes, helping us build a strong, inclusive network for educational progress! We will cover all aspects of requirements around stakeholders, including ideas for choosing them, what to do about no-shows, who the required stakeholders are for each program, including the special rule for PFE evaluations.

Comprehensive Needs Assessment

The Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CNA) is a foundational tool on which all campus and district plans are built. This session will guide participants through the process of conducting a Comprehensive Needs Assessment. We’ll cover key data sources, stakeholder involvement, and the need for prioritizing needs. Participants will use provided templates to guide their work through the process and ensure thorough documentation.

This workshop focuses on the foundational elements required for developing and revising a successful Campus Improvement Plan (CIP)/ Schoolwide Program Plan and District Improvement Plan (DIP)/ LEA Program Plan while aligning them with the goals of ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) and SCE (State Compensatory Education) programs. Participants will explore how these plans must meet both federal and state requirements to ensure high-quality education for all students, particularly those at risk of academic failure.

Program evaluation is often the missing piece of the ESSA and SCE requirements puzzle. During this workshop participants will understand the process to effectively evaluate ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) and SCE (State Compensatory Education) programs to positively impact student outcomes, ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, and use evaluation data to drive continuous improvement. The workshop will cover key evaluation strategies, data collection methods, and how to interpret results to inform decision-making, ensuring that ESSA and SCE funds are used efficiently to support student success.
