Chalease Denson, M. Ed.

Chalease Denson is a Special Education Liaison at the Region 7 Education Service Center. She has 30 years of experience in education. During her career, she has worked as a special education teacher, general education teacher, 504 Coordinator, Special Education Coordinator, and Special Education Director in East Texas school districts.

As a Special Education Director, Chalease focused on special education and Section 504 services. In her current role, she provides training and support to school districts in the areas of Results Driven Accountability, cyclical monitoring, targeted supports, strategic support plans, corrective action plans, Standards-Based IEPs, IEP folder reviews, and data analysis. She is passionate about helping schools improve services and outcomes for students with disabilities.
