Beyond STAAR: TEKS RS Math Project-Based Units
Building Structure, Sparking Curiosity, and Deepening Mathematical Thinking
After STAAR, math learning doesn’t stop—it shifts from test prep to cumulative projects. In this session, teachers will learn how to use project-based learning to keep students engaged, challenged, and thinking deeply through the end of the year. Using the TEKS Resource System, participants will explore available project-based units and design a rollout plan that connects math to meaningful, authentic contexts.
Each grade level has two session dates to choose from.
