Leslie is an Administrative Assistant in the Center for Effective Schools Department and has been in education for 2 years.

"I chose to come to Region 7 because I wanted to be part of a team that truly supports and inspires—not just in words, but through action. From the beginning, I’ve seen that this spirit of collaboration and encouragement exists across every department. No matter the role or title, there’s a shared commitment to serving others and lifting each other up.

I also knew I needed a job that would allow me to be present for my family. My daughter, who is almost four, and her younger sister are at the heart of everything I do. Region 7 has not only respected that priority but actively supported it. I’ve been given the flexibility, understanding, and encouragement to be both the professional I strive to be and the mom I want to be. That balance means the world to me—and it’s a big part of why I love being here.”
