my name is Riley Smith and I'm a kindergarten second grade reading interventionist might have been here at walking on stay for about three years honestly I chose national board certification because I had always heard about how hard it was and I'm one of those people that if you tell me that something is impossible I'm going to try this is one of the hardest things I've ever done but it was also probably one of the biggest rewards I'll ever get good things do not come easy so do not give up and get your national board certification really Open professional doors I feel like how to grow in your career and above all else it just makes you the best teacher that you can possibly late you know to really describe her and he needs to attempt to do so would be under selling her I mean she's just she's amazing I can report 220 cuz that's how she's wired she's on go all the time she will never never catch her down she's always willing to help and always does just the best job and it it's amazing to me how fast she can get jobs done national board I really got to know my students better and component for it's all about knowledge of students and I feel like I got to know my suit in and outside of the classroom and I actually had my highest need group that year made so much progress and it was just so rewarding to see kids that have always struggled really make a lot of progress she's one of those employees type of person that all school districts pray that they will find when they're trying to find somebody for a position and also the type of person that you never want to lose thank you to my husband and to my in-laws for watching my when's the time that she was a newborn till she was 2 years old because that's how long it took me to do this thank you to Tara and Mindy for doing this process with me I couldn't have made it through that with him and thank you to Caitlin and Kristen for allowing me to help you along process and for encouraging me thank you to Lori and Chris my Lucy loud co-workers for always taking up extra slack when I needed it being encouraging a literally could not have done this without them and mr. Carrington for being so supportive giving me time to work on this when I needed it and just always pushing me to do that other regions having cohort really impacted my journey because I was able to collaborate with teachers from other trick that did the same thing I did we were always getting to talk hey what is your District do for the we learn from each other and I felt last one friendship I also got to know a lot of people and I feel like not only does that open professional doors I just feel very supported by them I know that anytime I have a question I can email them and make it right back to me
