Renee Ramsey, Lindale ISD, becomes a 2024 National Board Certified Teacher.

my name is Renee rainsy I teach till credit English 4 and AP US History and I've been Illinois high school for 31 years. She develops relationship in a way that is conducive I'm learning but at the same time the kids have a connection with her so I think that's really important and she's just an outstanding leader in that sense for everybody on campus that doesn't make it good I really love at and I always want to be better I don't ever want to be stagnant with my classroom always want to find new ways to teach the kids and new strategies to implement in my classroom so I thought I would give it a try she loves teaching she wants to remain in the classroom and it's just a testament to her to get this endorsement just Testament of her professionalism how much she cares for the profession and her students and we're just so blessed by Miss Ramsay and every day I learned a lot about myself as a teacher because every lesson that you create you have to look at it from several different lenses is it going to be the maximum benefit from the kids if it's student-centered isn't engaging are you going to have the product that you want when you finish so they can learn what they need to learn the national board asked you to take it to a whole different level and really Ultra analyze everything I think that the whole experience it will change our teaching forever it will never approach your class if I'm I ever again I learned a lot about myself and it was I mean it was fun but it was really a lot of work she's really lived with the teachers don't see that can be so busy is a Chiva book there's not many like her we're so proud of Miss Ramsey she's obviously one of our best teacher in the entire District we have over 300 teachers in our school district so that she's starting to one of our finest my husband and my mom was the number one prayer Warrior and so they were incredible my principles Jeremy Kyle Ryan Melissa they were so supportive of everything that I asked they said sure they were very encouraging Mistresses at Anna's for holder of course were very supportive biggest helper in all of this with my curriculum director at Jennifer Lang she was the one that would help me gather information that I needed or help me do research on something or just hold my hand one more time and say it's going to be fine she was super awesome Allison thank me tomorrow she was my chief tech computer resource and I could have done all that without her program and it helped him work together is a cohort there number one trainer for everything we do an invaluable resource just like a great source for all things national board she's a wealth of knowledge fun fact and lie with one of my former apparently don't have school so because I was working so closely with her in a different role this time she was the teacher and I was the student it made the journey that much sweeter for me to have her helping me
