Amira is the world's first intelligent reading assistant. Students select an appropriately challenging story, read aloud to Amira, Amira listens to the student using speech recognition technology, and assesses their skill gaps. When students struggle Amira uses AI to select a tutoring micro-intervention and delivers (speaks back to the student) that intervention in the moment of struggle. Independent evaluations show Amira can be as effective as human tutoring when used for 30 minutes a week.
