Denise Richmond
Denise has her master’s degree in Special Education with certification as an Educational Diagnostician. Her background includes teaching in the elementary and middle school grades as a general education teacher and holding certifications in Arkansas and Louisiana. Denise was part of a district Transformation Zone as a specialist for Response to Intervention. This work involved guidance and support to campus leadership teams as they implemented the districts restructure of the Multi-Tiered Student Support Policies. Denise is currently a Specialist at the Region 7 Education Service Center. She provides training, technical support and coaching in the areas of MTSS (the Multi-tiered System of Supports), Child Find pre-referral requirements, special education, inclusionary practices, and data driven instruction.
