The application process for the 2021-2022 school year is now underway.

How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in Head Start and Early Head Start.  The Region 7 Head Start programs offer educational opportunities and services to families with children aged 0-5 years in 37 school districts in the East Texas area.  To participate in one of these Head Start programs, a student must have completed the district enrollment process, as well as the Head Start application process.

You may enter an online pre-application (located at the bottom of this page) and once submitted, it will be reviewed by Head Start staff.

Once complete, you will be taken to a link where you may submit supporting documentation online. These documents must be submitted for the application process to be completed. If the requested documents are not received, an in-person interview will be scheduled. Your application will not be complete until all documents are received.  Additionally, you must complete the district registration before your application can be considered for enrollment.

This online application is intended for the entry of new families only, you can contact eluna@esc7.net if you have had a child in our Head Start or Early Head Start program in the past so that the online application can be taken by email. For questions or concerns, please contact Tracy Stewart, Program Compliance Coordinator at tstewart@esc7.net.
