TPCP Mentors
The role of the mentor is to guide, support and assist the intern through their first year. Mentors are assigned by school administrators to offer assistance in areas such as planning, classroom management, instruction, assessment, working with parents, obtaining materials, and district policies. Mentors must be certified classroom teachers who meet certain criteria. More information may be found by clicking on the links on the right.

Mentors are required by TAC §228 to complete mentor training. The training is being offered electronically this year. If you have been selected to mentor a TPCP intern, you will receive an email with more information.
