The
Texas School Health Network is a collaborative effort
of the Texas Department of Health, the Texas Cancer
Council, and the Regional Education Service Centers
(ESCs). The School Health Network’s mission is to
serve as the coordinating point and collaborative
catalyst to promote healthy school environments
and healthy behaviors of all students and personnel.
Through
this program, each of the 20 ESC’s in Texas is staffed
with a school health specialist who provides in-service
training, workshops, and technical assistance to
school districts. Your Regional School Health Specialist
can provide you and your school district with assistance
or information on school health topics such as: |
